Governor Meyer Signs Executive Order To Strengthen Food Security Networks

On January 28, 2025, Governor Matt Meyer, surrounded by members of the Delaware Council on Farm and Food Policy, signed his Food Resiliency Executive Order, focused on addressing food insecurity and improving the efficiency of Delaware’s food distribution systems.

This executive order will re-establish the Delaware Council on Farm and Food Policy to develop and manage a cross-agency statewide food access strategy that addresses system gaps, optimizes food security, and improves nutrition for Delawareans.

HFHK is excited to be a part of these efforts through our appointment on the Council on Farm and Food Policy.
